Amara

Amara is a 1996, 16.2 h TB mare by Epic Win.  She is the princess of the farm, insisting on being ridden first and going to shows  regularly.  She knows she is a show horse, she even falls asleep between classes!

 

Amara has been barefoot since May 2005 and now only uses a bit for dressage.

 

The top picture is at Longleaf HT in 2003, placing 23rd (I think) in Novice.

 

The second picture is at Fairhill International HT in Aug. 2004, placing 6th in Open Novice.

 

The third row is at Fancy Hill Farm HT in July 2007, placing 10th at Training level.

 

The fourth row pictures are at Pinehurst HT in Sept. 2007 at Training level.  We did well in dressage and stadium, but retired due to involuntary dismount halfway through XC.

 

 

The fifth row is at Green Hill Park HT in Sept. 2007.  We withdrew after XC because the very steep hill there made her tired.
